Welcome II

Hello to all!! I have been working with Alfred Carson and Jeanette Boatman for a year on the family genealogy update. Several of you responded to my letter from last summer, I was impressed with the enthusiasm you expressed. Not only am I caretaking the BCCN families, I am custodian of the Alstatt, Bassett, Fisher, Jobes, Rocha and Simonini family genealogies. I would love to find a third tie between these 10 families. Two ties exist between the Boatman and Carson families: Commodore Boatman and Carrie Carson, Arlie Carson and Attie Ray Boatman, brothers and sisters in each family....
Just so you know, the Bassett, Fisher and Simonini families are from my mothers' side, Nancy Carson, and the Jobes and Rocha families belong to my husband.
I have many pictures that are unidentified and will try to get them on this blog so you can help identify our relatives. I am also hoping we can take the families on to email for updates and changes and let snail mail go. More later!!!

Welcome

I just started this blog at the request of Chris Jobes as a way for the Boatman-Carson-Coleman-Newman extended family to communicate and keep track of each other. Please consider this the first baby-step of a work in progress. Initially, I just wanted to get something up. We'll be working out the details and fine-tuning the design in the very near future.
